Why I Bought This School
My name is Nick Cain. I'm not a franchise operator or a businessman who stumbled into martial arts. I'm a martial artist who decided to run a school because I believe what we teach here matters — and I wanted to do it right. I took ownership of this school in January 2026. It had existed before under different management, but I saw something in this community — in Clarence, in the families here, in the kids who needed what martial arts can actually give them — and I knew I wanted to be the one to build it. I didn't get into martial arts because I was already confident. I got into it because I wasn't. And over years of training, something shifted. Not just in what I could do physically — but in how I carried myself, how I handled pressure, how I showed up when things got hard. That's what I want for every kid who walks through this door. Martial arts is not about fighting. It's about forging character.

Our Instructors
Nick has spent more than two decades in martial arts — training, competing, and teaching. He holds black belt rank and brings a coach's mentality to every class: high expectations, deep patience, and a genuine investment in each student's progress. Nick personally conducts the skills assessment for every new trial student because he believes first impressions matter.
Aidan works primarily with our younger students — Little Dragons and Kids Martial Arts — and has a gift for connecting with kids who are shy, easily distracted, or just need someone to believe in them first. Parents regularly tell us their kids ask about Aidan by name before class.
Carlton leads our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program and brings serious technical depth to the mats. He creates an environment where students feel safe to try, fail, and grow. Whether you're brand new to grappling or looking to sharpen your game, you're in good hands with Carlton.
